Wednesday COVID-19 update: 1 death in state; 4 new positive cases in Lake County

One more COVID-19 death was reported Wednesday by the state Department of Health.  The state’s overall total number of virus-related deaths is now at 1948.  

Another 225 new positive COVID-19 cases were also reported statewide Wednesday.  The number of people hospitalized increased to 113, while the number of active coronavirus cases decreased to just below 24-hundred.

Lake County reported four new positive COVID-19 cases yesterday, along with seven recovered cases.  There are currently 34 active cases in the county.

Kingsbury County increased to 57 active cases as of Wednesday, and Moody County to seven.  Brookings County’s number of active cases increased to 190.
