Update: FEMA Disaster Recovery Center closing Friday afternoon

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers in Alexandria, Madison, Mitchell and Plankinton will close permanently today as of 1:00 p.m. The Plankinton location will not reopen tomorrow (Saturday) as previously scheduled.

Even though the centers are closing, individuals and businesses with uninsured losses or damage from the September flooding and tornadoes have two more weeks, until Friday January 31^st to register with FEMA for disaster assistance or reimbursements.
