Two new positive COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday for Lake County
An additional two new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported for Lake County Tuesday. The state Department of Health reports 37 cases in Lake County as of Tuesday, with 21 of them reported as recovered and one death, putting the number of active cases in the county now at 15. There have been 726 negative tests reported for Lake County.
Overall, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 48 on Tuesday. Of the 7572 positive cases reported in the state overall, 864 of them are active. There are 62 people currently hospitalized and 109 people have died from the virus.
Area counties remain fairly steady in their active COVID-19 cases.
Brookings County currently has 18 active cases, McCook County has four, and Moody County has 3 active cases. Miner and Kingsbury counties each have two active COVID-19 cases at this time.
