The state is reporting another two positive cases of COVID-19 in Lake County Thursday, putting the county’s total number of cases at twelve.  Of those cases, seven people have recovered, so there are currently five active cases in Lake County.  The county has also had 303 negative tests.  

Active COVID-19 cases in surrounding counties Thursday include four in Brookings, three in Moody, and two in Kingsbury.  McCook and Miner counties each report one active positive COVID-19 case.

Two more deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the state Thursday, bringing the state’s total to 64.  The state Department of Health said the deaths reported Thursday are residents from Minnehaha and Pennington counties.  

The number of positive COVID-19 cases overall in the state increased by 87 Thursday to a total of 5247.  Of those, there are currently 1020 active cases and 86 hospitalizations.
