Tuesday COVID-19 update: Three new positive cases in Lake County; 105 in the state

Three more new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Tuesday, bringing the county’s overall total to 131.  The state Department of Health’s information update Tuesday also shows two more recovered cases in the county, and a total of six virus-related deaths.  This puts the number of active cases currently in Lake County at 17.  There have been 1117 negative tests in the county.

The state is reporting just more than 100 new positive cases statewide Tuesday, bringing the state’s total to just more than 15-thousand-400.  Of these, there are close to 27-hundred active cases and 68 people hospitalized.  No new deaths are being reported Tuesday so the total number of deaths in the state remains at 173.  

In our area as of Tuesday, Brookings County currently has 178 active COVID-19 cases, Moody County has nineteen, and McCook County has twelve active cases.  Kingsbury County now has four active COVID-19 cases.
