Tuesday COVID-19 update: Seven deaths and 621 positive cases in state; five positive cases in Lake County

Lake County added another five positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, along with ten recovered cases. The number of active cases in the county went down some Tuesday to 73. Overall, Lake County has reported 309 total positive COVID-19 cases, 228 recovered, and eight deaths, according to the state Department of Health.
The state reported another seven new COVID-19 deaths Tuesday, including one from Kingsbury County. The total number of deaths in the state is now at 330.
Positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 621 Tuesday, bringing the state’s total to close to 34-thousand-500. Of those, 8441 of them are active cases and 329 people are currently hospitalized.
In our area counties, the state reported Miner County with 69 active COVID-19 cases Tuesday, Kingsbury County with 59, and Moody County with 55 active cases. McCook County now has 54 active cases, and Brookings County has 309.
