Tuesday COVID-19 update: One new positive and six recovered cases in Lake County; 320 new positives in state

Lake County has added one more positive COVID-19 case to its total Tuesday. The state Department of Health reports one new positive case and six additional recovered cases, putting the number of active cases in Lake County now at 21.
Statewide, 320 new positive cases are being reported Tuesday, putting the state’s overall total at more than 19-thousand. Of those cases, there are currently 2817 of them active and 178 people are hospitalized. With no new deaths reported Tuesday, the state’s total remains at 202.
Area counties’ number of active COVID-19 cases include Brookings County with 116, and McCook County with 15 at this time. Kingsbury County has 14 active cases, and Moody County has 13. Miner County does not have any active cases at this time.
