One more COVID-19 death was reported in the state Tuesday.  Yesterday’s reported death was a resident of Kingsbury County.  Overall the state has reported 1961 deaths among residents with COVID-19.  The state Department of Health also reported nearly 150 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday.  Active cases decreased to below 18-hundred yesterday, and the number of people hospitalized because of the virus increased to 103.  

Lake County did not report any new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, but did report several recovered cases, bringing the number of active cases in the county down to 23.  Overall, Lake County has had 1357 positive cases, 1316 recovered cases, and 18 deaths.

As of yesterday, Kingsbury County had 21 active COVID-19 cases, Moody County reported 12, McCook County-6 and Miner County had one active case.  Brookings County reported 128 active COVID-19 cases.
