Another five new COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Tuesday, along with two more recovered cases.  This now puts the number of active cases in the county at 50.  Lake County’s totals include 260 total positive COVID-19 cases, 202 of them recovered, and eight deaths.

Statewide, another 414 new positive coronavirus cases are being reported Tuesday by the state Department of Health.  More than six-thousand of the state’s positive cases are active at this time, and hospitalizations total 302.  There are no new deaths reported by the state on Tuesday.  

The number of active COVID-19 cases in our area counties Tuesday include:  Brookings County with 210, and McCook and Moody counties each with 49.  Miner County has 34 active cases, and Kingsbury County has 29.
