Tuesday COVID-19 update: 244 new positive cases in state; two in Lake County
The state Department of Health reports 244 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the state’s total case count to close to 104-thousand. Of those positive cases, there are currently 4751 active COVID-19 cases in the state. No new virus-related deaths are being reported Tuesday, and 240 people are currently hospitalized.
Lake County reports two more positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, along with nine recovered cases. The county now has 47 active COVID-19 cases.
Also in our area, Kingsbury County Tuesday reports 36 active cases, McCook County has 26, and Miner and Moody County each report 25 active COVID-19 cases. Brookings County now has 227 active cases.
