Tuesday COVID-19 update: 182 new positive cases in state; 2 in Lake County
The state Department of Health reports just less than 200 new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday. The number of active cases statewide saw an increase Tuesday, with 92 people hospitalized because of the virus. The state did not report any new virus-related deaths, so the state’s death toll remains at 1888.
Lake County reports two new positive COVID-19 cases Tuesday, along with two recovered cases. The county currently has 30 active cases.
Kingsbury County has 14 active COVID-19 cases Tuesday, Moody County-12, and McCook County reports 11 active cases. Miner County has nine active coronavirus cases at this time, and Brookings County reports 57.
