Tuesday COVID-19 update: 15 new positive cases in Lake County; 1006 in state
More than one-thousand new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in the state Tuesday. The total number of positive cases in the state is more than 67-thousand. The state Department of Health reports that there are 18-thousand-624 active cases in the state, with 582 people currently hospitalized. There are no new COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday.
Lake County reports another fifteen positive COVID-19 cases, with fourteen recovered cases. Active cases in Lake County are now at 226.
Active cases increased or stayed steady in some of our area counties. McCook County reports 194 active COVID-19 cases Tuesday, Kingsbury County has 136, and Moody County reports 112 active cases. Miner County’s active cases remain at 37 as of Tuesday, and Brookings County’s increased to 511.
