Travel weather should be favorable for Christmas
Millions of Americans will be traveling over the Christmas holiday period, and Triple A Auto Club expects it to be about a four-percent increase over last year. Â
Scott Doering, a National Weather Service forecaster, says this year, the weather should not be a big factor in people’s travels. Â
Doering says it’s the continuation of a mainly dry, warm weather pattern that’s been in place for most of December. But winter is just getting underway, and Doering says things could certainly change as we head into the new year.Â
The first full day of winter was last Sunday, December 22nd. Â
