Five new positive COVID-19 cases have been reported for Lake County Thursday.  The state Department of Health reports 100 total positive cases for Lake County now, with two deaths and 81 recoveries as of Thursday.  This puts the number of active COVID-19 cases in Lake County currently at seventeen. 

Another COVID-19 death was reported in the state Thursday, bringing the overall total number of deaths statewide to 148.  82 new positive cases are being reported Thursday, putting the state’s total at close to 99-hundred.  There are currently 1058 active COVID-19 cases in the state, and 56 people are currently hospitalized. 

Elsewhere in our area, Brookings County is reporting 14 active coronavirus cases at this time, and McCook County has five.  Moody County currently has three active cases, and Kingsbury and Miner counties each have one active case as of Thursday.
