Another fourteen COVID-19 deaths are being reported in the state Thursday, putting the state’s total number of virus-related deaths now at 347.  A record number of new positive COVID-19 cases – 973 – is also being reported statewide Thursday by the state Department of Health.  The state’s total number of positive cases is more than 36-thousand, with 9273 of them active cases as of Thursday.  There are currently 355 people hospitalized because of COVID-19.  

Lake County is reporting another six positive COVID-19 cases Thursday, with two additional recovered cases.  There are now 81 active cases of COVID-19 in Lake County.

Miner County now has 65 active cases, and Moody and Kingsbury counties each have 59 active cases.  McCook County reports 56 active COVID-19 cases, and Brookings County has 317 active cases, with two new deaths reported Thursday.
