Thursday COVID-19 update: 7 new positive cases in Lake County; 4 deaths in state
The state Department of Health reported four more COVID-19 deaths Thursday, putting the state’s total number of virus-related deaths at 1919.
The state also reported another 237 new positive COVID-19 cases. Active cases statewide remained at more than 21-hundred, and 65 people are currently hospitalized.
Lake County reported seven new positive COVID-19 cases, along with two recovered cases. There are now 50 active cases in Lake County.
Elsewhere in our area, McCook County reported 18 active cases, Miner County had 16, and Kingsbury County-14 active cases. Moody County reported three active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday, and Brookings County had 92.
