Three additional COVID-19 deaths were reported in the state Thursday, putting the state’s virus-related death toll at 1938.  New positive COVID-19 cases increased by 230 Thursday, with just less than 25-hundred total cases that are active statewide and just less than one-hundred people who are hospitalized because of the virus. 

Lake County reported four new positive cases and three recovered cases Thursday, putting the county’s active cases now at 53.

Kingsbury County reported 65 active cases, McCook County had 20, and Miner County-13 active COVID-19 cases.  Brookings County reported 145 active cases as of Thursday, and Moody County had three.
