Three positive COVID-19 cases have been reported in the Madison Central School District.  The three positive cases were reported in students or staff members in Madison High School.  Superintendent Joel Jorgenson reported one of the positive cases on Friday and two of the positive cases on Sunday.  Sunday’s cases were from the same household.  Jorgenson reported that none of the cases had any close contacts for the school.

Madison Central Schools are on Christmas break until January 4th.  During that time, the district will be updating information on any positive cases involving students or staff members in the district on the district’s website.  Jorgenson is encouraging parents and guardians to continue to report any positive cases to their building principals over the break, and if there are any close contact situations, then the district will contact parents or guardians by e-mail and phone call.
