Three additional COVID-19 deaths reported in SD, no current active cases in Lake County

Three more deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the state Tuesday.  The state Department of Health reports that the three who died are from Minnehaha County.  This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in the state to 24, with 19 of them in Minnehaha County.  

The state is reporting an additional 53 new positive coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the state’s total to 2721.  There are currently 802 active cases in the state, and 75 people who are hospitalized because of the virus.

As of Tuesday, all four of Lake County’s positive cases are now reported as recovered, and there have been 150 negative tests.  

Moody County now has two active cases with four out of their six positive cases now reported as recovered.
