The Start of a New Fiscal Year for South Dakota

The work of the 2023 South Dakota Legislature began taking effect on July 1st. Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree of Madison says the legislature worked hard on making a number of changes.

Crabtree says they made a number of changes to education.

Crabtree says the legislature is currently working on everything from education to public safety concerns.
