Statewide positive COVID-19 cases increase by 29 Monday

Statewide positive cases of COVID-19 increased by 29 Monday.  The state Department of Health reports Monday that overall there are a total of 6326 positive cases in the state, with 808 of them active currently.  Also, there have been 81 deaths from COVID-19 and 88 people are currently hospitalized.

Lake County has four active COVID-19 cases at this time, with an overall total of 17 cases, twelve recoveries and one death.  

The highest amount of active COVID-19 cases in our area is in Brookings County where there are 18 active cases as of Monday.  Miner County has three active cases, Kingsbury and Moody counties each have two, and McCook county has one active case at this time.
