Positive COVID-19 cases increased by 22 today in South Dakota.  In numbers released Friday by the state Department of Health, the total positive cases increased to 187 in the state.  

The highest number of positive cases remains in Minnehaha County, where there are now 68 of them.  The state Department of Health is also reporting that 69 people have recovered from COVID-19 and that there have been two deaths so far from the virus.  

In our area, Lake County still has one positive COVID-19 case reported and McCook County has two, with one of them reported as recovered.
