State reports ninth death from COVID-19

Another death from COVID-19 has been reported in the state.  The state Department of Health is reporting the ninth death in the state is a male in his 80’s from Minnehaha County.

The total number of positive coronavirus cases in the state increased by just more than one-hundred to a total Wednesday of 1858.  

Just more than half of the people who have tested positive for the virus have now recovered, and 62 are currently hospitalized.  

Lake County remains at three positive COVID-19 cases, with two people recovered, and 91 negative tests.
