State reports adequate hospital capacity

With the increasing number of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 over the past few days, State Epidemiologist Dr. Joshua Clayton said Thursday that they are still showing adequate hospital capacity.

Dr. Clayton also provided a monthly breakdown on hospitalizations since the pandemic began.

As of Thursday, the state Department of Health reported that 138 people were currently hospitalized because of COVID-19.
