Positive COVID-19 cases increased by 45 in the state on Sunday.  The state Department of Health reported a total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state as of Sunday at just less than 75-hundred.  Of those cases, there are 868 cases currently active, 53 people are hospitalized, and 109 people have died.  

The state didn’t report any new positive COVID-19 cases in Lake County on Sunday.  The county has had 29 cases total so far, with 20 of them reported as recovered and one death.  That leaves eight active cases in Lake County currently.  There have been 713 negative cases in the county.

Kingsbury and McCook counties each had additional positive COVID-19 cases reported Sunday.  Kingsbury County now has two active cases and McCook has five, while Miner County has two active cases and Moody County has three.  Brookings County has 19 active COVID-19 cases as of Sunday.
