Lake County remains at four active COVID-19 cases Monday, according to information released by the state Department of Health.  Lake County has had a total of 13 positive cases, with nine of them reported as recovered at this time.  There have been 322 negative tests in Lake County so far.

Overall, the state reports an increase of 33 new positive COVID-19 cases Monday.  There are just more than one-thousand active cases in the state, and 92 people are currently hospitalized.  65 South Dakota residents have died from COVID-19.

Other area counties with active cases at this time include Kingsbury and Moody counties with three each, Miner County with two, and McCook County with one active COVID-19 case.  Brookings County currently has seven active COVID-19 cases.
