State providing businesses with mitigation measures and resources

The state Department of Health has been helping coordinate efforts to help businesses in the state with mitigation measures as they work to meet the recommendations of Governor Kristi Noem’s Back to Normal plan.  State Health Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon spoke during the governor’s media briefing on Wednesday and said that the state has a lot of resources available to help businesses.

Malsam-Rysdon said that these services are available to businesses at any time when they want to work to keep their employees safe.

Malsam-Rysdon said the department also offers help with testing for critical infrastructure businesses that have seen positive COVID-19 cases.

She said it’s all possible because of the work between the businesses and the state’s partners.
