State Fair to have a different look this year

In just less than a month, the South Dakota State Fair will be underway in Huron.  The fair, with the theme “A Perfect Vision of Fun”, will have a little different look this year.  With the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be social distancing guidelines in place.  Fair Manager Peggy Besch said the fair will have a mix of some regular and new vendors.

Besch said the State Fair carnival may have reduced amounts of rides, but several carnival groups will combine forces for the fair as they have done with other fairs around the state.

This year’s South Dakota State Fair will be September 3rd through the 7th in Huron.
