State DOH monitoring vaccine reactions

As COVID-19 vaccinations expand, health care professionals are watching for allergic reactions.

State Epidemiologist Dr. Josh Clayton says they are monitoring those getting the shots.

Clayton says there haven’t been any reports of reactions in the state yet.

Several variants of COVID-19 have been detected across the country. Clayton says they continue to monitor for those as well.

About eighteen percent of the state’s population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far.
