State continues COVID-19 mass testing of nursing homes and assisted living facilities

The state is continuing its COVID-19 mass testing at nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the state.  State Department of Health Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon said in a media briefing on Tuesday that so far more than 11-thousand-500 people had been tested.  Of those, she said that just more than 47-hundred are residents of the facilities, and the rest are staff members.

Malsam-Rysdon said that the state will have additional data and information put together on the mass testing results as they get more toward the end of the event.Â
