Snow and wind in forecast for Thanksgiving week

Winter weather will descend on much of the area this week.  

The National Weather Service has Lake County in a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Tuesday through Wednesday morning.

Janice Maldonado with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says along with the snow that is expected, there will also be a lot of wind.

Maldonado says there will also be more chances of wintery weather later this week.

Winter storm watches and warnings have already been posted for much of the region.
