Six new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported in Lake County Wednesday.  The state Department of Health reports six new positive cases, putting the county’s overall total now at 54.  Lake County has 42 people reported as recovered from the virus as of Wednesday and one death, putting the total number of active cases now at 11.  There have been 802 negative tests in Lake County.  

Statewide, another COVID-19 death has been reported – a resident of Pennington County – bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 119.  Overall, the state reports 58 new positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday.  There are 799 active cases in the state, and 56 people are currently hospitalized.  

Brookings County reports two additional positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, with now 12 active cases there.  McCook County reports two active COVID-19 cases and Miner County has one at this time.
