Sioux Falls man arrested in Lake County rollover accident

A Sioux Falls man was injured and later arrested for an accident that happened Saturday afternoon west of Madison.  Lake County Sheriff Tim Walburg said that Lake County Communications received a 911 call just after 5:00 Saturday afternoon of someone driving a white Hummer east on Highway 34 and traveling all over the road, weaving in and out of its lane and nearly colliding with four oncoming vehicles.  Walburg said the driver of the vehicle then lost control on the roadway near 451st Avenue, causing the vehicle to roll several times and land on its roof.  The two occupants of the vehicle received minor injuries. 

20-year-old Hunter Tennant of Sioux Falls was transported by Madison Ambulance for injuries from the accident. Walburg said Tennant was later arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Ingesting a Substance other than Alcohol to become Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, And Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  The passenger in the vehicle, who had minor injuries, refused medical treatment at the scene.  Other agencies assisting with the accident were the Madison Ambulance and Madison Fire Department.Â
