The snow and slippery road conditions led to several accidents in Lake County on Tuesday.  The Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to six different reports of either accidents or vehicles in the ditch because of the road conditions between around noon and 7:00 Tuesday.

Some of the calls for the Sheriff’s Office included a semi-tractor trailer that jack-knifed on Highway 34 and 460th Avenue, which later was also the site of a vehicle that slid into the ditch.  Tuesday afternoon, no one was injured when a pickup lost control on 464th Avenue near 242nd Street, rolled and hit an irrigation pump in a field. Another rollover was reported near the intersection of 238th Street and 460th Avenue Tuesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported.
