The City of Madison has closed some of its offices to the public.  City employees are still working and will be able to assist residents by other means.  Anyone needing assistance from the City Finance or Utility offices can call 256-7500 and select option 3.  City utility payments can be made by using the dropbox on the door, paying online, calling the office, or by e-mail.

The Madison City Commission will not hold its regular meeting on Monday.  The commission is looking out for the safety of the community and following the recommendation from the CDC in regard to public gatherings.  

The Madison Police Department is still open, but residents are encouraged to use the non-emergency number to contact the police department instead of stopping in if at all possible.  That number is 256-7531.
