Senator Crabtree discusses upcoming legislative issues

Issues for the 2023 South Dakota legislative session are starting to line up.

Incoming Senate Majority Leader Casey Crabtree of Madison said they will have to work with counties on their jail issues.

Crabtree said inflation will be a big factor in spending for schools, health care providers and state employees.

Crabtree said abortion and taxes will be big issues.

Governor Kristi Noem will deliver her budget address to state lawmakers on Tuesday, December 6th.
