Record-breaking fundraising at DSU Sutton Bay event

A special fundraising event has led to an increase in money for Dakota State University’s athletics scholarship fund.  The DSU Sutton Bay event, in its second year, raised 393-thousand dollars in cash donations and pledges.  This accounts for approximately 38-percent of DSU athletics scholarship dollars, up from the nearly thirty-percent milestone reached at last year’s event.  

DSU Athletics Director Jeff Dittman said that additional scholarship money allows coaches to recruit quality local and regional student-athletes to DSU.

The twenty-four attendees enjoyed two days of golfing and fishing at Sutton Bay while supporting Dakota State Athletics.

The event is hosted by First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard, along with Miles and Lisa Beacom.
