Ramona man arrested in Sioux Falls assault

A Ramona man has been arrested for attacking a person in Sioux Falls on Saturday morning.  Sioux Falls Police report that 68-year-old Kenneth Bornhorst of Ramona went to a home in the 62-hundred block of North Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls after 5:00 a.m. Saturday and attacked a person with a hammer and knife.  Police say the victim had seven stab wounds and was hit with a hammer two to three times.  They say the victim was later transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.  Bornhorst was arrested later on Saturday in Lake County and has been charged with First Degree Burglary and Aggravated Assault.  Police say they believe that the suspect and victim knew each other.
