Quarry Days celebration is this weekend in Dell Rapids

The Dell Rapids Chamber of Commerce is hosting the community’s annual Quarry Days this weekend.  

Events start today with the Quarry Days Golf Tournament and tonight’s Take Me Out to the Ballgame baseball games at Rickeman Field. 

A number of activities are slated for Saturday in Dell Rapids, including a parade, sidewalk crazy day sales, food and craft vendors, and family entertainment with Phil Baker.  There will also be a 5K run/walk, pickleball tournament, three-on-three basketball tournament, and co-ed volleyball tournament.  Saturday’s events wrap up with a Street Dance downtown.  

There are several things going on Sunday for Dell Rapids’ Quarry Days also.  Some of those include a Car Show, Fishing Derby, and Peddle-Pull Tractor Pull, as well as Legion Bingo in the Park, the Quarry Days Pageant and a fireworks display at the City Park at 10:00 Sunday night.
