Positive COVID-19 cases increase to 240

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state increased to 240 over the weekend.  In numbers from the state Department of Health Sunday, there are now 104 positive cases in Minnehaha County, 23 in Lincoln, 21 in Beadle, and ten in Codington County.  No more positive coronavirus cases have been reported in Lake County besides the one that was reported last week, and there are still none reported in the surrounding counties of Kingsbury, Miner, and Moody counties.  

Sunday’s numbers show that 84 people have recovered from the virus, and 22 have been hospitalized overall since the virus hit the state.  The state is still reporting two deaths, although another death from the virus – state Representative Bob Glanzer of Huron, was reported over the weekend.
