Positive COVID-19 cases in SD surpass 3500

Positive COVID-19 cases in the state continued to climb over the weekend.  The state Department of Health has reported 373 new positive cases since Friday, bringing the overall total of positive cases in the state to 3517.  

More than 2000 people have recovered from the virus, putting the total number of active cases at 1336.  There are currently 77 people hospitalized and 34 COVID-related deaths.  

Lake County currently has one active case of COVID-19.  There have been five positive cases in the county, with four of them recovered and 166 negative tests.

Moody County currently has ten active cases of COVID-19, and Brookings County has one.
