Another positive COVID-19 case has been reported in the Madison Central School District.  On Wednesday, Superintendent Joel Jorgenson said that a student or staff member at Madison High School had tested positive for COVID-19.  The district is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  If so, parents of those students will be notified.

In an update of active and recovered COVID-19 cases within the district, the district reports four active student cases as of Wednesday.  Three of the cases are in Madison High School and one in Madison Middle School.  The district has had 74 recovered student cases.  There is currently one active COVID-19 staff case in the district and 40 recovered cases.
