Positive COVID-19 case at Madison Elementary School

A positive COVID-19 case has been reported within the Madison Elementary School.  The Madison Central School District reported Monday that a student or staff member within the Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19.  This is the tenth total reported positive case in the school district.  The first one was reported on September 10th. 

The school district is working with the state Department of Health to determine if there are any additional students who would be considered close contacts.  Parents of anyone considered a close contact will be notified by the school district and the state Department of Health.
