The general election is Tuesday and nearly three-thousand registered voters in Lake County have already cast their ballots.  Lake County Auditor Paula Barrick said that as of Sunday, there have been 2989 absentee ballots, with 133 people voting early in the Auditor’s Office on Friday alone.  

Voters who don’t plan to vote early in the election can head to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots.  The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow.  

In Lake County, voters in the City of Madison vote at the Dakota Prairie Playhouse in Madison.  Voting at the Lake County 4-H Center Tuesday are the Herman and Winfred Townships precinct, the Farmington, LeRoy, Clarno, and Orland Townships precinct, and the Lakeview Township precinct.  

Voters in Chester and Franklin townships and the town of Brant Lake vote at the Chester Fire Hall, while Wentworth and Rutland Townships and the town of Wentworth voters vote at the Wentworth Fire Hall.  Nunda and Summit Township and town of Nunda voters vote at the Nunda Fire Hall, and Concord, Badus, and Wayne Townships, along with the town of Ramona voters vote at the Ramona Parish Hall. 

Voters are reminded to bring a photo identification with them to vote Tuesday.
