One new positive COVID-19 case reported in Lake County Monday; 49 reported in the state

One more new positive COVID-19 case is reported in Lake County Monday, according to the state Department of Health.  This brings the overall total number of cases in the county to 67, with 46 of them reported as recovered and two deaths.  That means there are 19 active COVID-19 cases in the county currently, and there have been 839 negative tests.

Statewide, positive COVID-19 cases increased by 49 Monday.  The state is reporting more than 84-hundred overall total cases, with 917 of them currently active and 47 people are hospitalized.  South Dakota has had 123 COVID-19 deaths.

Elsewhere in the area, Brookings County has eight active coronavirus cases at this time, Moody County has four, and Kingsbury and McCook Counties each have three active cases.  Miner County currently has two active COVID-19 cases.
