A second nominating petition has been filed for the Madison City Commission election.  City Finance Officer Sonya Wilt said that Kelly Dybdahl submitted his petition on Tuesday. Dybdahl joins incumbent commissioner Robert Thill in the running for the two seats up for election on the Madison City Commission this year. 

Thill and Mike Waldner’s terms are up for election this year on the Madison City Commission.  City commissioners serve three-year terms.

One person has filed a petition for a seat on the Madison Central School Board.  Business Manager Mitchell Brooks said Tuesday that Lori Schultz had filed her nominating petitions for re-election to her seat on the school board.  

Schultz and Steve Nelson’s terms are up for election on the board this year.  School Board members also serve three-year terms.  

Petitions for the Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board election need to be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26th or be postmarked by that time.  

A joint Madison City and Madison Central School Board election is scheduled for April 13th.
