After several days of new positive COVID-19 cases, the state isn’t reporting any new positive cases for Lake County Friday.   One case has been moved to a different county, putting Lake County’s total number of positive cases now at 78.  With 54 of those cases reported as recovered and two deaths, Lake County currently has 22 active COVID-19 cases.  There have been 870 negative tests in the county.

Statewide, 80 new positive COVID-19 cases are being reported Friday.  There are currently 873 active cases in the state, with 31 people hospitalized and 130 deaths. 

Elsewhere in the area, Brookings County currently has six active coronavirus cases, and Moody, Miner, and McCook counties each have four active cases.  There are three active cases in Kingsbury County as of Friday.
