No increase in cost of Madison Central School lunches and breakfast this year

Families in the Madison Central School District will have to pay for school lunches and breakfasts this upcoming school year, after a couple of years of not having to do so.  Business Manager Mitchell Brooks told school board members during their regular meeting Monday that rates will stay the same as they were in the 2019-2020 school year.

For the upcoming school year, Brooks said that the cost of a student lunch will be $2.70 and breakfast will be $1.60, with second entrees costing one-dollar.

Also during their meeting Monday, school board members approved a food service shared services agreement with the Harrisburg School District.
