No Election This Year for Madison City or Madison Central School Board

The deadline has come and gone for filing nominating petitions for this year’s Madison City Commission and Madison Central School Board Election and there will be no election this year.

Two petitions were filed for the two seats open on the Madison City Commission.  Both incumbents – Adam Shaw and Jarae Wire – filed their petitions with the City Finance Office.  Since they are unopposed, they will each serve another 3 year term.

Only one petition was filed for the Madison Central School Board.  Incumbent board member Rob Honomichl will serve another 3 year term.  The Madison Central School Board will discuss the process to fill the other open seat on the board at a future meeting. Â
