New Date for Groundbreaking of new Madison City Administration Building

After being rained out a week ago, the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new Madison City Administration Building has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 26th. 

The 10-million dollar facility has an estimated completion date of May 16th, 2025.  

The new building is located on South Highland Avenue and Southwest 4th Street & will house the Police, Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, and Administrative departments, along with the Mayor’s Office and Commission room. Construction began on October 2nd.
